Allison received her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of law in May 2008. While at Stetson she was President of the Maritime Law Society, a Representative of the Student Bar Association and Fifth Circuit Lt. Governor of the American Bar Association and was involved in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. She interned at Washington Patent Services and the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division.

Allison graduated from the State University of New York in Binghamton with a major in Psychology. Allison is currently a member of the Florida Bar, American Bar Association, and the St. Petersburg Bar Association.
